Amy Macdonald var kun 19 år gammel, da hun slog igennem med superhittet This Is The Life. Den lå på førstepladsen i 10 lande og albummet med samme titel lå på førstepladsen over mest solgte albums i Danmark tilbage i 2007. Elton John erklærede sig kæmpe fan og i 2017 kan hun både fejre sin 30 års fødselsdag og udgivelsen af det nye album Under Stars som bliver udgivet i februar. I forbindelse med udgivelsen, tager hun på omfattende Europaturné, som bringer hende forbi Store Vega den 10. marts.
