En af tidens største singer-songwriter talenter Benjamin Francis Leftwich, giver koncert i Huset i Magstræde 20. september.

Britiske Benjamin Francis begyndte som 10-årig at spille guitar med inspiration fra artister som Rolling Stones, Nina Simone, Bob Dylan og Ellioth Smith. I sine teenageår skrev han sange og spillede med et band i York, før han sprang ud som solist som 18-årig. Han er nu 21 år.

Efter flere EP’er var udgivet udkom debutalbummet “Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm” i 2011. Anmelderne udråbte ham til at være et af de største nye talenter på den britiske musikscene og samtidig gik singlen “Pictures” ind i Top 20 i England.

Benjamins version af ‘Rebellion’ fra Arcade Fire er blevet downloadet over 100.000 gange.
