Jon Allen, den irske singer-songwriter, er klar til at opvarme når The Straits gæster Amager Bio den  10. marts og Train den 11. marts.

I 2009 udgav den London-baserede irer sit debut album “Dead Man’s Suit”, og er bedst kendt for numrene “In Your Light” og “Going Home”. Sidst nævnte sang var titelmelodien til en verdensomspændende reklame for Land Rover. Jon’s andet album “Sweet Defeat” blev udgivet i 2011.

Jon Allen har før været support for navne som Damien Rice, KT Tunstall og Jose Gonzalez – og han har turneret med The Straits siden oktober 2011.

The Straits vil underholde publikum med en lang række af de klassiske hits og komme hele vejen rundt i det omfattende bagkatalog, der indeholder favoritter som bl.a. ”Money For Nothing” og ”Walk of Life”.
