The Beatles har flere gange har talt om at gendanne gruppen, vel at mærke mens de alle var i live.

Det udtaler Paul McCartney til marts udgaven af magasinet Rolling Stone. Beatles gik i opløsning i 1970, på demokratisk vis. Der var snak om at gendanne gruppen flere gange, men når det kom til stykket var der altid mindst en der sagde fra.

Paul McCartney er i øvrigt aktuel med albummet “Kisses on the Bottom”, og Ringo Starr er aktuel med “Ringo 2012”.
